The client wanted to paint the walls white. The structural posts and beams were cladded with MDF and painted white, so to bring warmth we removed the MDF and wrapped with locally sourced timber.
The client wanted a larger island than what was already there because she is a chef and wants more space to prep.
We refinished the original flooring which was stained a dark brown - sanding it down to remove the stain and damage, then restained to a lighter colour to brighten up the room.
